Registry settings for the VCC pages

When you are using one of our different pages (ERM interactive web pages, dashboard, webchat,…) it is important to take the registry settings FEATURE_MAXCONNECTIONSPERSERVER into account.

The FEATURE_MAXCONNECTIONSPERSERVER feature defines the maximum number of concurrent HTTP connections allowed to a single HTTP 1.1 host. By default, six connections are allowed; earlier versions (earlier then IE8) of the IE browser allowed two concurrent connections.
This is insufficient when more connections are needed. For example multiple tab pages with a connection to the WDS for dashboards in the Voxtron Client.

The settings should be adjust as follows:

Windows XP/Vista/7/8… :

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_MAXCONNECTIONSPERSERVER]

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_ MAXCONNECTIONSPER1_0SERVER]

Windows servers:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\MAIN\FeatureControl\FEATURE_MAXCONNECTIONSPERSERVER]

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\MAIN\FeatureControl\FEATURE_MAXCONNECTIONSPER1_0SERVER]

For each key, there should be a DWORD (32-bit) value, as follows:

“VoxtronClient.exe”=dword:0000000a  (so, 10 connections, or you can increase it more, if needed)
